Cancellation Policy for Consumers

Right of Withdrawal

This cancellation policy applies exclusively to consumers within the meaning of § 13 BGB (German Civil Code).
If you are acting as an entrepreneur (§ 14 BGB), the right of withdrawal does not apply.

As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is 14 days from the date of the conclusion of the contract.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Udysseus GmbH, Technologiepark 6, 33100 Paderborn, Germany, E-Mail: info@udysseus.com, Phone: +49 5251 297 2162) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. by letter sent by post or by e-mail).

You may use the model withdrawal form provided below, but it is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you for all payments we have received from you, without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days from the day on which we received your notification of withdrawal.

We will use the same means of payment for this reimbursement as you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. In no event will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

If you have requested that the performance of services should begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us a proportionate amount corresponding to the services provided up to the time you informed us of the exercise of the right of withdrawal, compared with the total scope of the services provided for in the contract.

Exclusion or Early Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply, or may expire prematurely, in particular in the case of:

  • Contracts for services which have been fully performed by the trader if the performance has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent and acknowledgment that the right of withdrawal is lost once the contract has been fully performed.
  • Contracts for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium if the performance has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent and acknowledgment that he/she thereby loses the right of withdrawal.
